This blog is about printmaking in a global context. It is designed primarily as a teaching blog for my serigraphy course, but it is also for printmakers and print enthusiasts.
I would like to gather together as many printmaking resources as possible on this blog. I am looking for submissions of prints that have particular historic significance, histories of printmaking techniques, images of presses and studio set-ups, printmaking demonstrations or events, resources for printmakers and examples of contemporary printmaking (exhibitions, protest art, community projects and quirky/innovative printmaking).
Please provide links to source material or citations.
Questions and proposed topics for discussion are welcome.
Posts will be curated to fit with the content of the blog.
